As the wind blows across the hills of Mondulkiri, Wat Sen Monorom seems ready to face a new ordeal. The sky, black and threatening, hangs over the temple like an inky veil. Yet a strange light continues to caress its golden roofs, as if the sky itself were hesitating between anger and grace. The faithful, accustomed to the vagaries of the weather, continue their rituals with disconcerting serenity. This dramatic setting reveals the symbolic power of this place: a resilient sanctuary, rooted in faith and landscape. Every element - the prayer flags flapping in the wind, the impassive statues, the damp steps - contributes to an atmosphere of contemplation tinged with anxiety. It is here that the tension between heaven and earth, between man and the invisible, takes shape.
