About the artwork

At the centre of this picture is Groningen's water tower, Water Tower West. The water tower was built in 1912 and has a height of 56 metres. It is one of the most striking buildings in the city of Groningen. Behind it on the right you can see the flats of the Paddepoel district, the Manhattan of Groningen. The houses in the foreground, as well as the water tower, are in the Schildersbuurt. Most of the houses were built in the early 20th century. Almost all the streets are named after well-known Groningen painters such as Taco Mesdag, Herman Collenius, Jozef Israëls and Hendrik Willem Mesdag. Kraneweg is the district's main traffic artery. The photo was taken during the beautiful blue hour and in the background you can see the clouds hanging over the Wadden Sea. The lighting of the houses gives this photo an extra special dreamy atmosphere that makes you ask yourself all kinds of questions and dream away. Groningen is fairy-tale beautiful!

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
