About ‘When the urban jungle reclaims its rights in Java’ by Frank Photos

This narrow alleyway in Yogyakarta seems to be a world apart, a corridor of greenery that exudes serenity. The walls are covered in creepers and foliage, while pots of plants line the ledges, creating a natural tunnel where the light filters softly through the leaves. The narrow, winding cobbled path invites slow, silent discovery. At the far end, a wooden door seems to mark the transition to another space, almost like a border between city and garden. Here, nature invites itself into everyday life, transforming the alley into a living jewel case, vibrant with shades of green. The atmosphere is peaceful, almost meditative - a scene that testifies to the intimate bond between the people of Yogyakarta and the tropical nature that surrounds them. This passageway, typical of older neighbourhoods, reveals the simple, authentic beauty of Javanese urban life.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
