Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
  • Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Where time stood still’ by Erikjan Koopmans

Former mining centre Bodie was a thriving and bustling place during the Gold Rush of the 1870s with about 1000 residents in 1879. Even though Bodie has had permanent residents through most of the 20th century, it is an authentic Wild West ghost town nowadays and therefore a big tourist attraction.
