About the artwork
This artwork shows a chameleon perched in profile, its body mapped with mint panels, dotted scales and fine carved lines. The eye is ringed with tiny dots and the crest glows like a soft comb along the back. Behind it a coral field is built from blocky spirals and tiles so the animal sits in a lively but controlled space. The inspiration comes from folk textiles and relief printmaking where pattern and creature merge. I wanted a bright confident mood the kind of piece that feels tropical and modern without shouting. Coral brings warmth while mint and deep green keep the palette fresh.
