About ‘White peacock’ by Bram de Jong

Most people will think of a peacock primarily as a blue bird. But there is also a white variety. These are not albino's (just look: no red eye?).
Several of these peacocks are still kept and bred on the Staverden estate. Traditionally, white peacock feathers are presented to the King's Commissioner every year.
