This striking coastal scene captures the dynamic energy of the sea in a vast, light-filled landscape. In the centre, powerful waves crash against the concrete breakwaters, sending an imposing cloud of white spray skywards. The foreground is framed by rustic, warm rock and stone formations, whilst the water glistens in soft shades of turquoise and silver in the sunlight. Gentle bands of cloud against the bright sky and the coastlines at the edges lend the composition a natural sense of depth.
