On the picture you can see a wild original moorland. Bogs were formed mainly after the last ice age and are characterized by a constant surplus of water (from rain or mineral soil water). They are important carbon reservoirs.
Apart from this important function, they are above all very beautiful original landscapes, which, depending on the mineral content, produce different plants and show beautiful colors. In the picture you can see the individual bent trees, bushes and their reflections on the orange-yellow colored water surface. The cloudy sky just before the rain, creates a beautiful color contrast to the warm tones of the marsh and the green hue of the trees and shrubs.
