Nowadays, the Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam has received many leading roles in most cityscapes of this beautiful city, but in the years before this bridge was built, these two red pillars adorned the Nieuwe Maas river and this bridge was truly the apple of the eye of the Rotterdam skyline.
