About "Windmill reflexion sundown 2"

About the artwork

String mill K is a string mill built about 1627 in Rustenburg, which was fitted with an auger in 1831. The mill is a thatched octagonal mill of the ground sailor type with an old Dutch sails. The mill, like more North Holland polder mills, is an indoor windmill. Strijkmolen K is equipped with a Flemish trap. Next to the windmill are two other windmills, namely Strijkmolen L and Strijkmolen I. Strijkmolen K is the only windmill of these three that still has its inner mechanism. When in 1941 the levels of the Raaksmaatboezem and the Schermerboezem were equalized, the remaining string mills lost their function.

In 2011 an extensive restoration took place, whereby the house was brought in the old style. In the same year, the old Schermerboezem along the mill was re-excavated. The plan is to have the mill grind in circuit in due course.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
