The Groote polder mill in a wintry look.
Real winters are becoming scarce in the Netherlands with the landscape undergoing a total metamorphosis. As a photographer, the jitters start when the first snowflakes fall in the hope that they will remain for a long time. During this winter shower when the snow passed almost horizontally, I was able to capture the Groote poldermolen. The heavy snowfall made it look like a chalk drawing. How Dutch can you have it.
I have been photographing since I was little, but the beauty of nature is something I really started to see by actively photographing landscapes and nature. By consciously standing still and taking in your surroundings you learn to look and feel differently.
