The church village of Wamberg is a district of the market town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen (Upper Bavaria) at 996 m above sea level. The village is located on the north side of the Wamberg saddle, a mountain range in the Werdenfelser Land with its highest elevation the mountain of the same name, Wamberg. This picture shows the church, which is the highest church in Germany. On this morning, I was fascinated by the dramatic cloud atmosphere over the mountains.
