About ‘Winthertales’ by Guy Bostijn

This place had been on my "Bucket List" for a couple of years, however, there is no snow in summer so it became a winter trip. Until one day a pack of snow was served I thought it's "now or never", got in the car, loaded up a friend and off we went! After 3 hr drive finaly arrived and ready to explore. Well wrapped up in clothes and shoes, we set off, into the forest and in search of three "pantzers" who are resting their old age here. Fortunately, I knew perfectly where to find them because at certain times the snow in the forest was at least 50 cm high, also you didn't know what the surface was we were walking on. Once we arrived in the beautiful winter scene, we captured the giants. It was quite fun entertainment. Once back at the car, completely chilled, the surprise awaited us that the car was stuck in the snow and we couldn't drive a metre. A few friendly people called on us to help and yes, after an hour and a half of struggling we were able to start our way back. Nevertheless, a nice experience to know that, with summer tyres on the car, you are really wrong there...

All-round photography with a preference for Urbex and street photography. The depiction of the past began with a vulgar visit to the village of Doel in Belgium and made the microbe strike in a world of unforced imperfections.

I work with Nikon D850 and Nikon D500, both of which are top-notch devices resulting in razor-sharp images. Also, all images are taken in RAW format, easily translated, I still have to "digitally develop" them myself. Just that makes…
