Wittevrouwensingel in Utrecht with the Culture Boat, or 'the blow boat', in the middle. Wittevrouwensingel is one of the streets on the outside of the Stadsbuitengracht. The Stadsbuitengracht was constructed in the twelfth century to demarcate and defend the city, after Utrecht was granted city rights by Emperor Hendrik V in 1122. The photo was taken at dusk on 3 April 2018, Dark Utrecht. That's the name of my series of photos of Utrecht places after sunset.
