Maya didn’t plan on sharing the spotlight that day. She was just taking a break on a shaded bench in the botanical garden, soaking in the calm, when something cool and scaly gently settled across her lap. An iguana.
Not just any iguana - a surprisingly confident one who clearly thought he belonged there. He made himself at home like it was the most natural thing in the world.
Visitors paused. Phones came out. And someone whispered, “They look like they were made for each other.”
