This work was created in collaboration with the model and the make up artist. We were looking for everyday objects to transform them into something completely different. It became wooden clothespins that formed an art object around the body. It was complicated to make this happen; gravity and the delicate material proved to be a real challenge to keep the object in place. But we succeeded in attaching the object to the body.
This is a portrait where the choice was made to have the model pose half-naked with the golden artwork around her, accentuating this object.
The photograph is dreamy, mysterious and warm. The pose is vulnerable, fragile and innocent. It evokes wonder.
Perhaps it is reminiscent of the light of the old masters of the 17th century with a contemporary twist.
This work is beautiful in an interior with a sense of art and who do not limit themselves to the mundane. Particularly suitable in warm, natural tones or dark rooms, but also in rooms that are quite tightly decorated. This picture will be a real eye-catcher.
