A beautiful macro photograph of a wood anemone in soft light.
This lovely close-up of the wood anemone (anemone nemorosa) is a particularly beautiful and atmospheric work.
The focus (sharpness) is on the pistil (stamens) of the wood anemone. This limited depth of field (DOF) causes the foreground and background to turn into beautiful soft bokeh.
This image I made in the Cranenweyer in Kerkrade. The beautiful soft light gives the work a nice soft atmosphere and nice soft tones.
This work "Wood anemone in beautiful soft light" is executed in portrait format.
It is a beautiful wall decoration to fill your empty space on the wall, where you can enjoy every day again.
The Cranenweyer
The Cranenweyer is a beautiful nature reserve in Kerkrade. The Cranenweyer is also called the "Green Lung" and is located in the Anstel Valley. The Anstelvalley is a creek valley of about 220 hectares. On the slopes of the forests many spring brooks rise and flow into the Anstel.
The Cranenweyer is the only reservoir in the Netherlands. The nature reserve has a diverse flora and fauna which makes this area very special.
Macro photography
With macro photography I show the small things in a larger scale. This gives a particularly beautiful view of animals such as insects and butterflies but also flowers. You look at it in a different way so you can see how beautiful this small world is. For me it is important that a macro picture has a nice bokeh (Bokeh is a beautiful soft background). And that also ensures that there is no distraction from the subject.
This work "Wood anemone in beautiful soft light " is a beautiful wall decoration for your empty space on the wall to fill, where you can enjoy every day again.
