It was a dream like scene. I was a tired traveler wrapping up a vacation. In the final leg I was at Tivoli, Copenhagen with family.
We had a couple more hours before the train back home and we entered, what we thought to be a cafe. After climbing a floor (or was it two?), we came to the realization that it wasn’t.
And as we prepared to go back down I noticed a movement. A bird wafted through the entrance elegantly. Seemingly so very out of place yet its motion was calm and hypnotic.
I stood dumbstruck staring at it when I realized it had a twin that had gently walked behind. I had to squint my eyes a few times before I went for a click!
I may have read the signs wrong when I strode into its habitat, but sometimes even the wrong signs can lead you to the right place!
