About ‘Yellow daffodil in the blazing sun’ by Ronald Smits
Daffodil (Narcissus) is a genus of bulbous plants of the daffodil family (Amaryllidaceae). The name comes from Greek mythology (see Narcissus (mythology)). Daffodils are spring bulbs and need a cold rest period.
Daffodils can be left to fend for themselves; they multiply by themselves and more flowers will appear each year.
