About ‘You’re not serious, are you?’ by Katharina Roi

The minimalist lettering ‘Not your ernst?’ draws its impact from its direct and slightly provocative message. The generous spacing and flowing handwriting make the phrase come across as a direct question, leaving room for personal interpretation. The design can be seen as a humorous response, a self-assured objection or an invitation to question one’s own perspective. The lettering was hand-drawn on an iPad using Procreate and digitally refined. A minimalist statement for modern living spaces, offices, studios or gallery walls.
