Lake Zell is a freshwater lake in the Austrian Alps. The lake owes its name to the lakeside town of Zell am See. The lake is 4 km long, 1.5 km wide and up to 69 m deep. The entire lake is located almost 700 m above sea level. The lake is fed by mountain streams that flow into the lake in many places.
