About ‘a starfish’ by Walter G. Allgöwer

In the soft, golden sand of the beach on Koh Mook lies a starfish, as if the sea had gently carried it here to leave a sign of peace and beauty. Its symmetrical, delicate pattern looks like a small sculpture of nature - a silent ambassador of the underwater world.
The starfish rests there as if it belongs to this peaceful moment, caught between the sky and the sea. The sand, warm and fine, caresses its contours, while the gentle breeze of the Andaman Sea carries with it the scent of salt and freedom. It seems like a symbol of the serenity of this place - a symbol of holidays, of letting go and becoming one with nature.
On this island, where time flows more slowly and everyday life seems far away, the starfish tells of the connection between land and sea. It may have experienced many tides, but here it rests in quiet beauty, a small treasure of the Andaman Sea. A picture that makes you pause and reminds you how simple and at the same time precious the small wonders of life can be. Koh Mook offers a moment of wonder and peace.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
