Gorinchem, the home town of photographer Bert-Jan de Wagenaar, is rich in alleys. This to the great pleasure of de Wagenaar, because he loves the rough stones and other weather-beaten materials. Where most people will not look for nice pictures, Bert-Jan knows how to find them. Here is a nice example. Beautiful shades and weathered walls. Because of the small depth of field and the cinematic color grading, this image could have been cut out of an exciting movie.
