About "dashboard old tractor"

About the artwork

8159.8 hours did this tractor according to the dashboard. Knowing that this type was built in the first half of the 1970s, that would be about's 160-170 hours per year. That is very little for a tractor. Compare it to a car driving about's 2,500 kilometres a year. Probably, then, the tractor was only used for some light manual labour.
The dash board shows that this one is of the SAME brand and - although an Italian brand - was built in the UK.
The top half shows the engine's rpm for different purposes. As soon as you would start the engine, the white pointer turns anti-clockwise and indicates the engine speed, up to 2,500 rpm. The lower half shows the driving speed, up to 28 kilometres per hour. Pretty clever: using a single pointer to indicate both engine speed and driving speed.
To the left and right are what are probably warning lights: for the indicator, for the oil level and the like.
This picture fits seamlessly into a business environment in, say, mechanisation or mechanical engineering. But also in an environment where people like to make things measurable :)
