The Dalmatian Pelican or Dalmatian Pelican is a giant bird species, one of the largest of the birds. It reaches about 160 to 183 cm in length, and has a wingspan of about 290 to 345 cm. It is hugely photogenic and gets its name from the sloppy crown feathers on the back of its head. These pelicans were photographed from the shore or from a boat in northern Greece (Macedonia)
It was a unique experience to photograph these beauties for a week in Greece.
