About ‘diving swans’ by Frankje Huisman

In Millingerwaard, I saw these swans diving fanatically for food. It was in winter at high tide, so there were all sorts of bare stalks just above the water. That, together with a breeze, created an almost graphic representation of the swans' surroundings. I spent some time watching and photographing, which resulted in this series.
