Helmmycena in the moss.
The helmmycena (Mycena galericulata) is a mushroom in the family Mycenaceae.
Hat
The cap has a diameter of 2-4.5 cm and is broad bell-shaped to flat with a central hump. It is a tough and leathery cap, which is greyish brown to yellowish brown in colour with a striped or grooved edge.
Stalk
The stem is 7-10 cm high and 3-5 mm thick; the colour is gray. The stem is tough and cartilaginous.
Lamellae and spores
The lamellae are widely spaced and attached to the stem. They are white at first, but later turn pinkish to flesh-coloured. The spores are white.
Smell
When bruised, the Hell-mycena gives off a floury smell.
Habitat
The hellgrammycena occurs in groups on tree trunks, sometimes throughout the year, but especially in autumn. ( wikipedia)
