Just a village square in France. The men of the village play their game in the afternoon sun. Petanque ( jeu de boules) I am very welcome to take pictures, I will not let myself say twice and make grateful use of it. What are the French ones nice and hospitable. Vive la France !! Petanque is the Provencal variant of the bowls, although both terms are often used as synonyms. Jeu de Boules includes all the games played with metal balls. For petanque little or no equipment is needed; It is simple in design, and emphasis is placed on agility instead of physical strength. Panic is a variation of a typical ball game that was already played in ancient times in its earliest form. However, it was still practiced as a power game. The Romans later made a skill game about the shape as we know it. Also in the Middle Ages, petanque and other ball games remained very popular, but after that the interest was relaxed except for certain regions such as French Provence.
" It makes me happy to create memories "
I love to photograph in the French or Dutch countryside. Forests, countryside or by the sea. But also cities, towns and villages (especially in France) are my favorites.
Best regards ! Yvonne..
