Spring in Tuscany. Fresh pale green new leaves of a beech tree against a brilliant blue sky. Occasionally looking up sometimes yields beautiful images. Like here early in the season on Monte amiata in southern Tuscany. Giant beech trees alternate with chestnut groves. The fine delicate young leaves stand out beautifully against the sleek blue of the sky. The photo is pure nature, no post-processing was needed to make the image sparkle.
