Through the window of a bright orange vintage car, time glistens. The sun casts a warm glow on the shiny paintwork, while the interior, shrouded in nostalgia, whispers of days gone by. The steering wheel, with its ornate chrome spokes and proud Lancia logo in the centre, still seems to be waiting for another ride. Behind the steering wheel, analogue gauges stand still, as if they might come to life at any moment with the gentle rumble of the engine.
On the dashboard are simple switches with yellowed letters: "off", "def", "fan". No touchscreens, no GPS. just mechanics and intuition. Here you drove by feel, with both hands firmly on the wheel and a view of the road, not a screen.
Maybe someone once drove this car along the coastline of Italy, windows open, the smell of salt in the air, a radio singing softly about love and freedom. Or maybe it stood still for years, hidden in a barn, until someone found it. Dusty, but dignified, and decided he could see the road again.
This car is not a means of transport. It is a time capsule, a story on four wheels, and through this window we get a glimpse of the soul that lives inside it.
