Sunset was about midnight. Most people were already in bed. Imagine being asleep while being able to witness this. That is crazy! In winter (summer in the southern hemisphere), it doesn't actually get dark and then you often have the most beautiful light conditions. I found the Lemaire Channel a very special place to be. It is often very calm. There is often hardly any wind, which produces fascinating reflections in the water. The peaks of the mountains reach straight up here.
