Deze wilde hyacint werd gefotografeerd in het Hallerbos (België). In dit bos vormen einde april tot half mei de wilde hyacinten plaatselijk uitgestrekte blauwe bloemtapijten. Vandaar dat de blauwe wilde hyacint de meest typische plantensoort van het Hallerbos mag genoemd worden.
