About the artwork

Certainly, there are indeed an awful lot of different varieties of tulips. Here is a brief explanation of the main varieties:

- Single-flowered tulips: These are the classic tulips with 6 petals. They bloom in all kinds of colours such as red, yellow, white, purple, etc.

- Double tulips: These tulips have extra petals, giving them a fuller appearance. They also bloom in different colours.

- Parrot tulips: These tulips have curled and fringed petals, giving them a very distinctive look. Many purple, pink and yellow parrot tulips.

- Viridiflora tulips: These tulips have green stripes or spots on the petals, giving them a very special appearance.

- Darwin tulips: Large, sturdy tulips with wide petals. They flower mainly in bright, sheer colours.

- Triumph tulips: Early-flowering tulips with large, round flowers in many different colours.

- Botanical tulips: These are smaller, wild varieties of tulips that often bloom in combinations of colours.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
