Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘urban Erasmusbrug rotterdam, the netherlands’ by Angelique Rademakers

The Erasmus Bridge connects the center on the north bank with residential areas and office locations on the south bank of the Nieuwe Maas. After the Maas Tunnel it will then be the most important underlying cross-river connection in Rotterdam. The bridge is constructed as a cable-stayed bridge with a striking bent pylon that is 139 meters high. The total span is 802 meters and the main span is 278 meters long, the longest main span of all cable bridges in the Netherlands. Because the vertical clearance is limited, there is a bascule bridge of 80 meters in length on the south side of the bridge with a passage width of 50 meters. This is the largest bascule bridge in Europe. On the north bank, the Schiedamsedijk continues into the center and crosses Boompjes. On the south bank the Wilhelminakade crosses and the road changes into the Hillelaan. The Erasmus Bridge has 2x2 lanes and two tram tracks. In addition, there are facilities for pedestrians and cyclists in both directions, making the bridge deck 30.8 meters wide.
History
The Erasmus Bridge is the first bridge at this location. Previously, traffic via the Maastunnel or the Willemsbrug, but major developments on the Kop van Zuid required a new cross-river connection. In 1996 the Erasmus Bridge was opened for traffic. The construction cost 165.6 million guilders. Almost at the same time as the construction of the bridge, the Kop van Zuid has been transformed from an outdated port site to a prime location.
