zombie chomper and chomper 01:A buggy is a certain type of car.

In the sixties it became very popular in the US to rebuild the body of Volkswagen Beetles. Such a car was called a buggy, after the VW Bug, as the Beetle was called in America. Because the cars were smaller and lighter than the common beetle, the diminutive Buggy was used. Buggy is also an English term for a mistake and that fitted well with the Buggy because it was not always reliable.

There were bodies made of glass-fibre reinforced polyester for sale that could be placed on the chassis of a beetle. A beetle does not have a self-supporting body, so the conversion gave few problems.

There were also shorter bodies, for which it was necessary to shorten the chassis. This, of course, required much more professional knowledge and skill.

The craze also spread to Europe, which is why many buggies drove around in the seventies. Also in the Netherlands and Belgium many people tried to take advantage of this craze, like APAL in Belgium and Ruska, Rizovari and Bird's buggy in the Netherlands. Many also built a prototype or buggy for their own use. The buggy craze spread at the end of the 80's, partly due to stricter safety rules, but it is still possible to buy new buggies.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
