Wikipedia gives the following description: Abstract photography, sometimes called non-objective, experimental, conceptual or concrete photography, is a means of presenting a visual image not directly related to the object world and created through the use of photographic equipment , processes or materials. Or in simple language: to capture a different way of capturing a subject in such a way that it is not immediately recognizable. We often talk about abstract shapes, lines and colors.
