Delft Netherlands

Delft is a city and municipality in South Holland in the Netherlands, located on the Schie, between The Hague and Rotterdam. Delft has a historic center, developed in the 19th century to the industrial city, and presents itself today, with the presence of a Technical University and the research institutes TNO and Deltares, especially if Delft Knowledge City. Within the history of the Netherlands Delft is primarily known as William of Orange has resided there since 1572 and was assassinated in 1584. The House of Orange since been interred traditional Delft. The nickname of Delft is the Prinsenstad. The patron saint of the city is Hippolytus of Rome.
