Flowers Up Close
Flowers seen from an unusual close-up perspective. Delicate petals, fine structures and vivid colours become a small world of their own. Through the strong magnification, the boundaries between flower, landscape and abstract form begin to blur. I am especially drawn to the moment when something familiar suddenly appears unfamiliar. Soft transitions, gentle blurring and a subtle analogue texture give the images a calm, almost painterly atmosphere. The series invites you to look more closely and discover the small details of a flower in a new way.
