Sacred Wild

Sacred Wild is a collection of oil paintings that honors the quiet presence of wild animals—moments of stillness, instinct, and soul. Inspired by Leone Tonkinson’s South African roots, each portrait reflects the golden light, vast spaces, and sacred encounters with wildlife she carries in her memory. Painted with deep sensitivity and fine detail, these works capture more than likeness—they reveal the inner world of each creature. In a world full of noise, Wild Silence invites us to pause, meet the eyes of the wild, and remember who we are when we are truly present.
