TIME vanishes form the landscape on canvas, poster, wallpaper and ArtFrame by Annemarie Hoogwoud

"it is the perception the determines time" Out of concern and discomfort, but mostly driven by curiosity, lyricist Jaap Jepma and photographer Annemarie Hoogwoud entered the Frisian landscape with notebook and camera and several landscape experts. The Frisian landscape that, about a decade ago, was declared the most beautiful in the Netherlands. That creates obligations, you might say, and the task of preserving, restoring, strengthening, experiencing and developing with loving pride. But are we doing so? Are plans being made in this province to look to the future from historical core qualities? Does the love for the landscape hold a beckoning perspective to be able and willing to design for the future as well? Or do we have so many developments at the same time that it is almost an impossible task to maintain a coherent and recognisable whole? Text and images are presented in a beautiful book: TIME vanishes from the landscape. A book that contributes to an important conversation about our landscape and what choices are needed in the coming years. In this album a selection of the photos to the book.
