The upper reaches of the Mekong on canvas, poster, wallpaper and ArtFrame by Theo Molenaar

In 2015 I traveled to the upper reaches of the Mekong, to Quapugtang or Zadoi, the first settlement of significance on the Mekong and the end of the (paved) road. Adventure at altitude. This photo album is the result of that. In addition to Qapugtang, Zadoi region and Nangchen region and city, it also contains photographs of places between Nangchen, Yushu, the provincial capital and Chengdu, which share Tibetan culture and landscapes.
