Two Stories on canvas, poster, wallpaper and ArtFrame by BS

Two Stories is an art series built around one simple typographic symbol: :): — three characters that, depending on how you look, form either a smiling face :) or a sad face :(. This dualistic symbol is the thread connecting twenty-two unique artworks that together form a visual essay on perspective, interpretation, and the ambiguity of human existence. Every artwork in this collection maintains the exact same composition — the recognizable colon, parenthesis, colon — but translates it into a completely different visual language. From thick oil paint in deep red and dark blue to ethereal neon tubes in pink and cyan. From sidewalk chalk on rough asphalt to gold leaf on dark marble. From spray paint on brick walls to white on white, where the symbol becomes visible only through the texture of raised paint. The series explores the idea that the same truth looks fundamentally different depending on the viewer's perspective. A moment of joy is simultaneously a moment of loss. An ending is also a beginning. The two stories don't exist side by side — they are inseparably intertwined, just as the two faces in the :): symbol share the same characters. The artworks range from expressive and raw to serene and minimalist, from warm earthy tones to cool nocturnal palettes. Some scream their duality in complementary colors that clash and explode. Others whisper it in subtle textural differences that only become visible when the light falls just right. Two Stories invites the vie
