Image quality, technical requirements and useful checklists
In your shop you can upload digital files. These digital files are used for making reproductions that fit the customer's wishes. It is therefore very important that they are of the highest quality. Your work can be sold as a small photo print, but also as a large size wallpaper. On this page you will find all upload requirements, checklists and tips about uploading the right works in your Art Heroes shop.

Check the image quality at 100%
After each step in your editing process, you zoom in to 100% and see what the effect is on your image. Some operations may result in a lot of noise or loss of detail. It is therefore important to get into your system to zoom in to 100% and to keep a close eye on details of your photo.
Technical demands
In addition to image quality, we have a number of technical requirements that your file must meet. These requirements are recognized in our upload system and you will also receive feedback on this when you upload an image.
Each platform has its own requirements. The requirements we set are based on our own experiences over the past years. We have a high standard and assure our customer's beautiful prints of any size, this also applies to the large sizes.
It is essential that your digital files are of the highest standard. If your art is not created digitally (think of paintings, graffiti, drawings and more), you can convert it to a digital file.

Digital illustrations
A digital file must at least meet the following specifications:
- Photograph with a system camera or SLR with at least a micro 4/3 sensor
- Resolution: at least 12 megapixels (and short edge bigger than 2500 pixels).
- Files up to 150 MB can be uploaded.
TIFF (with ZIP compression) or JPEG (in maximum quality) files.
- Preferably work with a standard ratio (1:1, 2:1, 3:2, 4:3, etc).
- Do not add a company name, copyright notice, or logos (a signature in a painting is allowed, by the way).
- In Photoshop or Lightroom, export the file including color profile: Adobe RGB (or sRGB).
