About Bernd Döbel

Photography has accompanied me since my teenage years. At that time analog, mainly black and white and developed in my own laboratory. That is in me and is my passion. I think my portfolio shows that too. Shapes interest me more than colorful worlds. Just the reduction to the essential. I choose my motifs accordingly and process them according to my taste. It would be nice if others share with me.

I live in the Rhein-Main area and share my passion with others in the Fotoclub Darmstadt. From time to time I also exhibit pictures or take part in competitions. But these are secondary activities for me.

The equipment, which is for many in the foreground, is for me a means to an end. The result and the development of their own creative abilities, are for me in focus.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
