My grandfather was an amateur painter and, with an eye for detail, copied paintings by famous Dutch painters. Every time I smell oil paint, I imagine myself in his small studio where he spent hours.
Never thought I would adopt his love for art. But now I understand his passion.
Several years ago, I started taking painting lessons from a renowned artist. Without any knowledge and practice, painting felt very familiar even then. I love experimenting with colours, shapes and materials, it never gets boring and I find that I am far from being done learning.
I recently joined the art collective Elixer Art.
