Deana Lassooy [1963] - painter of symbolism, soul, and connection. My oilpaintings emerge in colourful layers and tell intuitive stories with deeper meaning. Animal symbolism and portraits in my own style form the thread running through my work. I paint to touch something essential - something that may be felt, even when it can't be put into words.
What drives me is the deseri to express light, hope, and inner strength. My background taught me how valuable it is to give space to beauty and awareness, especially in the face of life's challenges. Art helps me - and hopefully others - to connect, reflect, and grow.
