My art is an invitation to escape the logic of everyday life for a moment and immerse yourself in a world full of colour, fantasy and wonder. Each work arises from a playful sense of curiosity - like walking through a dream where nothing has to be right, but everything is allowed to speak.
I am inspired by the unexpected: a floating chair, a dancing coral reef, a cloud in the shape of a pie slice. Surrealism runs like a thread through my images, merging reality and imagination. Colour plays a leading role in this - not as decoration, but as language. Sometimes whispery, sometimes exuberant and full of expression.
My love for coral and the ocean is often reflected in organic shapes, flowing lines and the idea of a world beneath the surface - mysterious, vivid and full of stories. Just like food, by the way: that too is pure art for me. The smell, the colours, the shapes - food connects, seduces and tells.
If my images are allowed to evoke something, it is wonder. And a smile. Or hunger. That is also allowed.
