As an artist, I have always felt a strong connection with water. It reflects the movement and change I seek in my work. After studying autonomous visual arts and illustration at the art academy in Den Bosch, I went my own way.
My paintings focus on the movement and energy of water and light which for me symbolises freedom.
What makes my art unique is the emphasis on freedom: physical, emotional and spiritual. Each work is a product of intuition and creative process. Water, light and freedom remain my main sources of inspiration and remind me of the many possibilities in both life and art.
