Nadieh Bremer turns data into art. Drawing on her background as an astronomer and her fascination with patterns, stories and complex systems, she creates works that bring together science, design and art.
In her work, she translates data into colourful, detailed compositions that invite us to discover them again and again. Sometimes the images emerge from climate data, constellations or global cultural traditions; sometimes from topics that affect our daily lives; and sometimes she focuses on creating detailed maps. Behind every piece lies a real story, hidden in shapes, lines and colours.
With her unique style, Nadieh has gained international recognition as a data visualisation designer and data artist. Yet her motivation remains the same: to let people experience that data can be not only informative, but can also evoke wonder, beauty and emotion.
