I am a passionate amateur photographer from Magdeburg and have dedicated myself to the fascination of lost places for over 13 years. I use my camera to capture the beauty of decay - those quiet, often forgotten places where the past and transience meet and nature slowly begins to reclaim its space.
I am fascinated by how nature is making a comeback, how light falls through broken windows and how stories live on in abandoned buildings, even if people no longer linger there. With my photographs, I want to capture this special atmosphere - the mixture of melancholy, silence and mysterious beauty that can be felt in such places.
My travels take me to lost places in many European countries. I am fascinated by visualising the hidden aesthetics in crumbling facades, overgrown rooms and silent relics.
